Cabane Rambert CAS

The cabin is an enlarged stone building with red and white shutters and a new panorama window and is located between Derborence and Ovronnaz. It is a stopover on the multi-day round trip «Tour des Muverans». Due to the special geographical situation one enjoys, from the cabin’s terrace, a far-reaching view from Mönch across the entire Valais Alps on to Montblanc and Dents du Midi. At night the lights of the Rhone Valley deep below are a spectacular sight. In summer various tours and fairly difficult summit ascents are possible.
