Mischabeljochbiwak SAC

This elevated shelter, high above Saas-Fee and Täsch, is an extraordinary stopover for mountaineers doing the south ridge of Täschhorn or other traverses in the Mischabel range. Except for the Solvay emergency shelter on the Matterhorn this cabin is the highest SAC cabin. Considering its location and the size it is one of the more comfortable ones. The view reaches from Po Valley on the one side, to the Matterhorn and Weisshorn on the other.
