Located on a rocky promontory high above Sustenpass on the verge of the vast glacier area around Sustenhorn and Gwächtenhorn, the cabin is charming, rustic, cosy and heated by a wood burning stove. There is also an annex with up-to-date teaching rooms. It is a cabin for mountaineers, nature lovers, mountain connoisseurs and suited for training courses. In summer, one of the access trails uses the Via Ferrata with its splendid view, while in winter visitors hike up Steingletscher.
