Drive or fly to Pokhara and onwards by road to Nayapul

Transfer from Kathmandu (1,400m) to Pokhara by bus in about 5 hours, before transferring by car for about one hour to Nayapul (1050m) for overnight in a lodge. There is options to fly to Pokhara if you don’t fancy the bus journey.

The trek begins from Nayapul, heading towards Tikhedhunga at 1525m. After a short walk along Modi river, there is a small village called Birethanti with many shops and teahouses. Then the path starts climbing steadily up the valley to Hile and then Tikhedhunga. Total five hours walking.

Start with a steep ascent to Ulleri (1960m), a large Magar village and continue through forests of oak and rhododendron until Banthanti (2250m). Head toward Nangethanti (2460m) and then Ghorepani (2875m). Approximate trek of 7 hours.

Early start to watch sunrise over the Himalayan range from Poon Hill (3250m), then after brunch onwards to Tadapani

Early morning start with a hike to Poon Hill to discover the amazing landscape of the region at sunrise. Return to Ghorepani for breakfast before trekking to Tadapani (2610m). Approximate trekking duration of 6 hours.
