Mountain hut

Domhütte SAC

A cabin full of character for mountaineers and alpine hikers, located in a high mountain landscape above Randa and surrounded by magnificent summits. The view extends from Breithorn over Matterhorn, Zinalrothorn and Weisshorn to, believe it or not, Balmhorn in the far away Bernese Oberland. The stone building erected in 1957 was the first of its kind by the architect Jakob Eschenmoser. The newly built annex complies with today’s comfort standards. The cabin makes possible summer ascents to seven four-thousanders of the Mischabel range.
