Visitors enjoy the sunset looking from the cabin on Fuorcla da Lavaz across the rearmost part of Val Plattas. The state of the art metal construction paired with the original stone building make for a dynamic architectural character. The cabin offers a small but nice ski mountaineering terrain, a challenging climbing park and a stopover on multi-day hikes, e.g. the four-day «Greina Alta» from Disentis to Vals. In winter the region is popular among ski mountaineers and snowshoe hikers.
