Albania is one of Europe's fastest-rising walking destinations, with the Albanian Alps, Accursed Mountains, coastal ranges, and village-to-village trails giving real substance at good value. This works especially well for travelers who want rugged terrain and a less polished, more characterful feel than the central Alps.
